The legends and stories of void centuries. These things are really interesting ones in One Piece. Believed to be 900 years ago, the Void Century has a lots of mysteries to cover and Robin, the archaeologist from the Straw Hat Pirates has an ambition and a dream to find out about it. That might be the reason for her to join the Straw Hats.

Well, I don't know much about the void century but, after watching all the Episodes and reading in some web sites related to One Piece, I discovered few things about Void Century and I'm jotting them down.
Void century is the time period between 800-900 years before the current story of One Piece, which is found out by the records and the archaeologists, who had studied the Ponyglyps. Its called the void century because there is nothing left to be known about that time period.
However, it causes a problem with the known histories of the world as nothing ties up because of that missing period. Though many seem to know there is a gap in the historical record, virtually everyone is unaware that filling in this gap is possible. For example, Nefertari Cobra, after being told by Nico Robin about this missing period, was completely shocked that a way to "tie the threads of history together" existed. The fact that filling the gap is possible was proven when "Dark King" Silvers Rayleigh revealed that the Roger Pirates discovered the true history.
